We focus on innovation and customer success. The Role We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to support production, quality improvement, and equipment‑related projects. The internship provides hands‑on exposure to manufacturing engineering, equipment design support, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an on‑site role in Mound House, NV and will not be considered for candidates who do not live in the area. Key Responsibilities Create component and assembly models and drawings. Execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and production deviations. Update operator and parts manual documentation. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Travel to APPLIED facilities as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Ideal For This Role If You Are well organized, process and data driven, and have solid analytical skills. Work well independently and as part of a team on projects. Are proactive and display a strong sense of urgency. Physical Requirements Communicate information and ideas clearly. Possess mechanical dexterity for equipment operation. Frequently move items weighing up to 35 lbs. Observe details at close range (within a few feet). Experience and Qualifications Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mechanical aptitude. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, engineering internship, or co‑op is preferred. Hands‑on experience using precision metrology tools. Experience using SolidWorks and CAD is preferred. Well organized, process and data driven, with the ability to make decisions and act on them. Solid analytical skills and proactive nature.
