TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Day Shift Material Coordinator Position in Greer, SC.Payrate: $20.00/hrOverall PurposeEnsure effectiveness of material flow and throughput maximizing efficiency to meet shipping and receiving schedules along with customer demand.Support and contribute to the company Quality Policies and QMSReports to Site Supervisor/Containment SupervisorResponsibilitiesClient relationship & Business developmentCreate and maintain customer information, part numbers, standard packs, SAP InventoryCreate cycle counts Ensuring clear and transparent communication with all clientsEstablish electronic folders for each customer, recording all shipping and receiving eventsLiaison with customer as requiredExpedite parts in need of immediate analysis to customerOperationsCount all in-house material daily and balance inventory systemInvestigate discrepancies immediately and resolveRecord all rejects by supplier and part numberMaintain and organize quarantine area, balance weeklyConduct ongoing audits of effectiveness of work being performedReturn or dispose of material at an established period or at the end of the missionCoordinate new material arrival and timing of completionDemonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidentsMust comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policiesOrganization & managementEnsures all site personnel receive corporate communications Monitor materials with regards to buffers being established and expedites being arrangedCreate and maintain a 6S working environmentAssist with inquiries from internal and external staff; TRIGO and customerProvide all information to assist with quoting rework, standard pack, container and sub-container, and daily usageTechnical Update daily system entries in company and Customer portalsMaintain Inventory current and up to date statusOtherPlacing material orders on Quality Alerts, including prioritizing the material to be processedAssisting the Senior Lead and Supervisor in ordering supplies for the cage areaManaging the movement of materials, including scanning and forkliftingCommunicating any inventory discrepancies to Senior Lead, Supervisor and the relevant Customer personnelCompleting call down and demand reports dailySplitting rejected materials in the SAP systemProcessing the materials disposition and obtaining scrap authorization if requiredAny other duties as assignedKnowledge, skills, abilities Hard SkillsProficiency in EnglishComputer skills - Microsoft Office (Excel basics proficiency) and Outlook Ability to lift/ move 50 lbs.Writing work instructionsValues and AttitudeGlobal team spiritTeam playerCaring for peopleOpen-mindedExcellenceReactiveResilient to pressureRigorousCustomer focusClient orientedReliable & trustworthyFlexibleInitiativeAutonomousInnovativeDaringWork experience1+years of work experience in a materials / logistic - focus w/SAP1+ year in Quality related position preferredEducation backgroundHigh School Diploma or Equivalent About TRIGO Global Quality SolutionsFounded in 1997, TRIGO is a multinational company providing operational Quality Management solutions for the manufacturing sector, especially in the automotive and aerospace industries.
