Job Description Overview Physical Therapy Assistant | Llano, Texas | Start 06/01/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | $1,495-$1,524 per week | 40 guaranteed hours | Shift: 5x8 days | Setting: LTC - Nursing Home Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,495-$1,524 per week - Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 5x8 days - Start date: 06/01/2026 - Setting: long-term care / nursing home Responsibilities - Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, delivering interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy (e.g., massage), gait training, and balance activities - Assess and document patient progress, reporting treatment results to the supervising physical therapist - Implement and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the PT, ensuring patient safety and adherence to the care plan - Maintain accurate, timely charting and progress notes consistent with facility policies - Collaborate with the rehab team to support multidisciplinary patient care in a LTC setting Requirements - Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas or a United States compact license - Minimum 2 years PTA experience - Education: associate degree from an accredited PTA program (or equivalent) - Ability to work in a long-term care environment and to fulfill a 40-hour weekly schedule - Eligibility to practice in the United States and to work the specified assignment duration Benefits and Support - Guaranteed hours - Travel assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC - Onboarding and credentialing assistance - Dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment Find more opportunities If you’re interested in other openings, explore more opportunities with Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
