Search Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Medical Appointment Assistant to join our mission of delivering top-notch care to the people we serve!
Location: Mount Prospect, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st Shift
Salary: $21.75/HR
Responsibilities:
Assist individuals in getting to their medical appointments, including those using wheelchairs or adaptive equipment.
Advocate for individuals’ healthcare needs and ensure they’re heard.
Schedule and follow up on all necessary medical appointments.
Accurately complete and deliver medical summaries to the nursing and case management teams.
Help maintain up-to-date medical records.
Be the go-to person for confirming appointments and making sure pre-procedure instructions are crystal clear!
Work hand-in-hand with our delegating nurse to ensure quality care.
Occasionally assist with medication administration and provide direct care support when needed.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred, but not required!
U.S. High School diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (you’ll need reliable transportation!).
Ability to meet and maintain Pace Certification requirements.
Basic computer skills to keep things running smoothly.
Can lift up to 44 lbs and are comfortable with physical moves like bending, twisting, and reaching.
You’re ready to obtain CPR, First Aid, and DSP certification within four months of hire!
