You’ll be a key technical contributor in a small, high-ownership environment — someone who can dig into complex legacy systems, solve real problems, and help us modernize for the future. You’ll work closely with our operations, merchandising, and customer experience teams, which means the applications you build and maintain directly support the independent jewelers and retail partners who rely on us.You’ll work in a mix of ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC, SQL Server, and integrations with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and internal iPad apps. We’re actively expanding our use of Azure and upgrading our development environments.What You’ll DoMaintain and enhance ASP.NET applications (Web Forms + MVC) that power our order processing, customer portal, and rep support toolsTroubleshoot production issues across code, database, and infrastructure – you’ll be the person people count on when something breaksWork with SQL Server – writing queries, stored procedures, and debugging data issuesSupport and improve integrations with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central and internal apps via web services/APIsHelp build and improve Azure-based dev/staging environmentsAssist with IIS configuration and deploymentsCollaborate with our Customer Experience, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to understand business needs and translate them into reliable softwareWhat You Bring5+ years of experience with C# / .NET FrameworkStrong experience with ASP.NET (Web Forms and/or MVC)Solid SQL Server experienceExperience working with web services (SOAP/REST)Comfortable debugging legacy systems and taking ownership of complex codebasesAble to work independently – we’re a small team, and you’ll have real autonomy and accountabilityNice to HaveAzure experienceDynamics NAV / Business Central integrationsEntity FrameworkCI/CD experienceModern Tools (Plus)Interest in using AI tools and APIs to enhance applications (search, content, images)Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.Success in This Role Looks LikeStable, well-maintained applications that our customer experience and sales teams rely on without interruptionFaster resolution of production issues with fewer recurring problemsClear, documented improvements to our codebase and dev environments over timeTrusted technical partnership with non-technical stakeholders across the businessCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $95,000 – $110,000 (based on experience)Health and dental insurance401(k) with company matchHybrid schedule Professional development opportunitiesWhy This RoleAt Ostbye & Anderson, you won’t be a ticket in a queue.
