Kitchen Lead

Kids run, jump, climb, and slide while learning valuable skills like sharing, teamwork, and making new friends. At Catch Air, we’re committed to creating a healthy, fun environment where children can be their active, adventurous selves!The Kitchen Lead is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff to ensure a high standard of food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, requiring someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and fosters a strong team environment.Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team ManagementSupervise, train, and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operationsFoster a positive, team-oriented work environmentLead by example with strong work ethic, professionalism, and accountabilityWorking the General manager ensuring there are proper staffing levels during shifts Food Quality & ExecutionEnsure all food items are prepared and presented according to company standardsMaintain strict quality control on all items leaving the kitchenMonitor consistency, portioning, and presentation Inventory & OperationsManage inventory levels, ordering, and restocking of kitchen suppliesConduct regular inventory counts and minimize wasteEnsure all kitchen stations are properly stocked and organized at all times Sanitation & SafetyEnforce all health, safety, and sanitation standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready kitchenEnsure all staff follow proper food handling and safety procedures QualificationsPrevious kitchen or food service leadership experience preferredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsReliable transportation and consistent attendance Work RequirementsAbility to work 4–8 hour shiftsMust be available to work weekendsAvailability to work holidays as neededAbility to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight Work typeIn-personPart-time (28-30 hours a week)What were looking forWe’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, holds themselves and their team to high standards, and thrives in a team-focused environment.
