SummaryThe Machine Maintenance Mechanic II works with minimal oversight and supervision to maintain, clean, and service machinery while using company equipment and vehicle for transportation. Machine Maintenance Mechanic II performs comprehensive independent diagnostic analysis, preventative equipment maintenance, and repair work while consistently demonstrating safe and efficient work practices with a positive and professional attitude and demeanor. Pay Range and Additional Details$25/hr+ DOECompany vehicle provided Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance of machineryProperly clean, align, and test core functions of machinesRecognize core function issues and report them to management for repairUnderstand most effective cleaning methods for machinesClean and clear machine mechanisms of obstructions Repair/replace most all parts within a machine, including mechanical and electrical parts, belts, bearings, boards, buttons, switches, signals, small motors and pulleys.Follow troubleshooting logic to determine issues with non-functioning machines.Maintain and repair belts, motors, sensors, and signal wiresSwap out components in control panelsLift, carry and raise to a level of 5 feet items weighing up to 50 lbs.Adhere to Safety Standards and policiesClean and maintain work area and equipment to ensure a safe work environmentOccasionally cut, torch, grind, weld, or perform hydraulic oil changes Education/Experience1-2 years technical trainingMinimum of 3 years experience with industrial mechanics, welding, and hydraulic systems Requirements - Skills, Job Knowledge & AbilitiesBasic electrical and mechanical skills and knowledge around gears, pulleys, chains, machinery, and electronic controls.Understand and use basics of machine mechanic and technician level toolsUnderstand basics of AC, DC, 5v, 24v, 110v, 208v3ph and multimeter usageAbility to work well independently and as part of a team; a self-starter, but not hesitant to ask for direction when neededDemonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, handle frequent changes effectively and professionally, follow through on issues in a timely manner, and give excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracyStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with individuals at all levels with both internal and external partnersOwn a basic tool kit; specialty tools will be providedA current driver's license and acceptable driving history is requiredRegular, reliable, in-person attendance Benefits and PerksComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) with 100% match on employee deferrals up to 4% of compensation. 50% match on deferrals between 4%-6%Generous PTO plan and 6 paid holidays annually.
