Landscape Designer

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to transform client visions into stunning, functional outdoor realities. This role acts as the creative lead for projects, driving the design process from initial concept through to final installation.Based in Indianapolis, IN, our client is an award-winning landscape architecture and design firm known for creating innovative, sustainable, and high-end outdoor spaces. They offer a highly stable environment with a strong pipeline of exciting residential and commercial projects.ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive landscape design plans, including hardscape, planting, grading, and lighting layouts.Conduct detailed site evaluations and analyze environmental factors to ensure optimal design feasibility and sustainability.Collaborate closely with clients to define project goals, establish budgets, and align on aesthetic preferences.Produce high-quality 2D and 3D renderings, and detailed construction documents to effectively communicate design intent.Coordinate with contractors, nursery vendors, and internal installation teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution.Present design proposals and progress updates clearly and persuasively to both clients and internal stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Landscape Design, or a related field.3+ years of professional experience in landscape design or architecture.High proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite).Deep knowledge of plant materials, hardscape materials, and construction techniques.Excellent communication and project management skills with a proven track record of balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.A strong, comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous landscape design projects from initial concept to completion.Compensation & BenefitsBase salary $75,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experienceCommission and performance-based bonusesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchLife and AD&D insurancePaid time off (PTO)Employee referral programSupportive, growth-oriented work environment
