The Survey Manager will lead a team of survey professionals, ensure the delivery of accurate and timely survey data, and collaborate with engineering teams to support the successful completion of projects, and provide overall advancement for the department. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about precision, technology, and teamwork.Key Responsibilities:Manage and lead the surveying team, including hiring, training, and performance managementPlan, schedule, and oversee field and office survey operations to meet project deadlinesEnsure the accuracy and quality of survey data for engineering, construction, and land development projectsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand survey requirements and deliverablesUtilize advanced surveying equipment and software (e.g., GPS, total stations, AutoCAD Civil 3D) for data collection and analysisPrepare and review survey reports, maps, plats, and other documentationMaintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land surveyingDevelop and implement efficient survey processes and workflowsMonitor and manage survey budgets, ensuring cost-effective operationsStay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance survey capabilitiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required or ability to obtain within 12 monthsMinimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying, including leadership or management rolesProficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center) and equipmentStrong understanding of legal descriptions, boundary law, and topographic surveysExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectivelyCommitment to safety and quality assuranceWhy You’ll Love Working HereProfessional GrowthTuition reimbursement & on-demand training opportunitiesClear career paths and promotion potentialMentorship from experienced peers and supportive leadershipCulture & CommunityTeam-building events, book club, happy hours, and moreInclusive, collaborative culture where every voice is valuedCompany match for charitable donations and annual all-team gatheringsRewarding CompensationCompensation: $120,000 - 160,000The salary range provided is a general guideline.
