Job Description Description:The Heavy Construction Equipment Shop Technician for Newman Tractor diagnoses, maintains, and repairs a wide range of heavy construction equipment in a shop environment. You will work on dozers, articulated dump trucks, excavators, skid steers, rollers, loaders, tractors, and more across brands such as Sany, CAT, Volvo, Bell, and Kubota. This role requires strong technical expertise, sound troubleshooting skills, and a disciplined pre-work inspection process to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, equipment operates at peak performance, and safety standards are maintained. Electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills are required, along with ownership of a complete set of diesel mechanic tools.
