Title Agent

Job Description:Insight Global is seeking a Title Agent for a leading utility engineering and construction client supporting large-scale infrastructure projects. This role focuses on performing detailed title research and building permanent parcel files to support Right of Way acquisition efforts. The Title Agent will work closely with Right of Way, survey, design, and construction teams to ensure property ownership is accurate, title issues are resolved, and projects proceed without legal or access delays. This is a strong opportunity for someone with a title examiner background looking to transition into the utility and Right of Way space with stable hours, hands-on impact, and long-term growth potential.Day-to-Day:Research public records to identify land and property ownershipPerform full title searches and identify defects and curative actionsCreate and maintain permanent parcel and landowner filesReview and interpret deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licensesSupport Right of Way acquisition activities and negotiations as neededSecure civil permits for construction and maintenance projectsServe as liaison between internal teams, municipalities, and property ownersResolve encroachments, landowner complaints, and damage claimsMaintain accurate landowner contact records and documentationEnter and track project data within internal project management systemsOccasional courthouse visits (typically ~1x per week; most work in-office)Must-Haves:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Right of Way / title-related experienceAt least ~1 year of title examiner or title research experience (residential preferred)Strong experience performing full title searches and curative title workAbility to research public records and courthouse documentationValid driver’s license with satisfactory driving recordStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsPlusses:Background in commercial real estate researchPrior experience supporting Right of Way acquisition teamsFamiliarity with easements, permits, and land agreementsExperience coordinating with survey, design, or construction teamsComfortable reading and interpreting project plans
