This is a strategic, hands-on role focused heavily on compensation and total rewards, including benchmarking, job leveling, salary structures, incentive programs, compliance, and reporting.This role will also partner with stakeholders on broader key people initiatives that support organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, and a strong, high-performing culture - making it ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.ResponsibilitiesCompensation & Total RewardsSupport the design and evolution of compensation structures, total rewards program, benchmarking, and incentive programsEnsure competitive and equitable pay practices aligned with company philosophyManage compensation and people data reporting (including reports, dashboards, and analyses that support workforce planning, compliance, budgeting, audits, etc.)Policies, Processes & ComplianceDevelop and implement people policies, programs, and processes that scale with the businessEnsure compliance with applicable employment laws and best practicesContinuously improve systems and workflows to enhance employee experienceStrategic People LeadershipDesign and execute holistic people strategies aligned with business goals and growth plansPartner with senior leaders to drive organizational design, workforce planning, and team effectivenessAct as a trusted advisor on leadership, performance, and cultureBusiness PartneringProvide day-to-day HR partnership to leaders and teamsAnticipate future talent needs and develop proactive workforce plansNavigate complex employee relations topics with sound judgmentTalent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningLead and support hiring strategies across functions and levelsBuild scalable recruiting processes and partner with hiring managers to attract top talentGrowth & CultureDrive initiatives that support company growth, culture, and employee engagementPartner cross-functionally to implement programs that reinforce values and ways of workingUse data and insights to inform decisions and measure impactRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience in HR / People roles, including 3+ years of core compensation experienceProven ability to operate across multiple people functions (TA, comp, HRBP, programs)Strong strategic thinking paired with a hands-on, execution-focused mindsetExperience working in high-growth or evolving organizationsExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skillsSound judgment, discretion, and ability to navigate ambiguityPreferred QualificationsExperience with long-term incentive plansExperience in high-growth or newly scaled business linesFamiliarity with multi-state workforce considerations and complianceLocation: SF/Bay Area, San Diego, CA; Denver, CO. Hybrid.Base Pay - $160,000 - $180,000The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our teams. In addition to competitive base pay, total compensation may include a discretionary annual bonus and a market leading comprehensive health and wellness benefits package.
