IT Manager (Guidewire)
Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship availableWe are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the technology strategy, delivery, and ongoing support of claims systems within a modern, cloud-based environment. This role will serve as the primary owner of Guidewire ClaimsCenter, partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive system enhancements, stability, and overall operational efficiency.This position combines hands-on technical leadership with team management responsibilities, overseeing application development, quality assurance, and project delivery while ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, configuration, and ongoing support of Guidewire ClaimsCenter, including enhancements, integrations, and upgradesPartner with Claims and business leadership to translate business needs into scalable technology solutionsManage and prioritize application development and support activities across internal teams and external vendorsOversee system performance, availability, and production support to ensure a stable user experienceDrive best practices across development, testing, release management, and change controlLead project delivery efforts, including planning, resource management, and execution of key initiativesEnsure proper documentation, system governance, and adherence to audit and security requirementsProvide leadership, coaching, and performance management for technical team membersSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, and user experienceQualificationsExperience working with Guidewire ClaimsCenter, including configuration and support in a cloud-based environmentStrong understanding of insurance claims processes and systemsProven experience leading application development or IT teams, including vendors and cross-functional resourcesExperience with system integrations, APIs, and modern application architecturesExposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, release management)Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with both technical and business stakeholdersEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceTypically 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on enterprise applications and team leadership
