Role OverviewThis position is responsible for the processing and follow up of US and Canada customer orders. The position requires extensive follow-through with customers, sales, production and logistics to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing of customer orders.Hybrid role Monday - Wednesday onsite required.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain direct responsibility for designated accounts, from order receipt through shipment to customer to invoicingAccurate and timely entry of customer ordersHandle daily service and order activities.Work closely with plant schedulers and transportation group to securing on-time deliveriesPlay critical role in developing customer relationships and resolving customer issuesProvide backup to team membersMaintain master file informationInvoice orders and complete month-end closing transactionsEntry of credits, debits, and sample order requestsRecording and reporting on ongoing issuesQualificationsEducation:College degree preferred.Previous customer/sales service experience recommendedSkills & Abilities:Familiarity with SAP, JDE or similar ERP environment desirable.Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and organization.Excellent communication and organizational skillsAble to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with multiple interruptionsAbility to work independently and on a teamBasic level of Microsoft 365 suite and internet skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay ($22/hour / $43,000) - ($27.50/hour / $53,500) + annual bonus401(k) with 6% company matchPaid parental leave, generous PTO, & paid holidaysWork-life balanceCareer growth with exposure to senior leadership.Annual merit increase opportunityFitness & Gym ReimbursementEmployer Contribution - Health, DentalAbout UsOil-Dri Corporation of America is a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialty sorbent products for consumer and business-to-business markets that has been voted as a Top 100 workplaces in the Chicago Tribune.
