Marketing & Public Relations Internship (Summer)Founded in 2010, the Acadiana Cane Cutters are a summer collegiate baseball organization competing in the Texas Collegiate League. Beyond baseball, the Cane Cutters are committed to developing future professionals by providing students and recent graduates with meaningful, hands on experience in the sports industry.We are currently seeking (2) Marketing and Public Relations Interns for the Summer. This internship is designed for motivated students who want real-world exposure to sports marketing, branding, and media operations while working directly with a live organization.What You'll DoAs a Marketing & PR Intern, you will play an active role in shaping and promoting the Cane Cutters brand. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Creating original content for all Acadiana Cane Cutters social media platformsAssisting in the development of promotional videos and commercials for broadcasts and digital useDesigning marketing materials (digital and print) displayed throughout Lafayette, LA and across online channelsSupporting broader marketing, branding, and public relations initiatives as neededWhat We're Looking ForThis internship is ideal for students interested in sports management, marketing, communications, media, or design.Preferred qualifications include:Basic familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, BoxOut, etc.)Basic understanding of video editing conceptsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and organizational skillsA positive, professional attitudeSelf-motivated, dependable, and eager to learnAbility to collaborate effectively in a team environmentWhat You'll GainHands on experience with a collegiate sports organizationPortfolio worthy work in marketing, branding, and mediaExposure to the day-to-day operations of a baseball franchiseProfessional mentorship and real responsibilityResume building experience applicable to careers in sports, marketing, or mediaPosition DetailsLocation: On site in Lafayette, LouisianaTerm: SummerCompensation: Unpaid internshipSchedule: Flexible hours based on academic requirementsThe Acadiana Cane Cutters are an equal opportunity employer.
