CDL Class A Driver

*About Us* Kanect Recycling is a growing scrap metal recycling company headquartered in Ashtabula, Ohio, with an additional yard in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Through Kanect Co, we also buy and trade scrap and recycling equipment across the region. We're a hands-on, local operation built on what we call Kanectivity: businesses, people and communities growing together. We're looking for dependable CDL drivers based out of our Ashtabula yard to keep material moving to our customers, mills and buyers. *What You'll Do* * Run out of our Ashtabula yard, hauling throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania, with occasional runs to surrounding states * Haul scrap metal loads to mills, processors and buyers * Deliver, swap and pick up roll-off containers * Pick up scrap vehicles, equipment and material from customers * Move loads between our Ashtabula and Greenville yards as needed * Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and keep accurate logs, scale tickets and paperwork * Help keep loads clean and properly sorted to avoid deductions * Take care of your truck and equipment and report issues right away * Represent Kanect professionally with customers and at the scale house *What We're Looking For* * Valid Class A CDL * Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen * 1+ year of commercial driving experience preferred * Roll-off, dump, flatbed or scrap hauling experience a plus * Comfortable with physical work, all weather and yard environments * Reliable, on time and able to work independently * Must live within commuting distance of Ashtabula, OH *Schedule & Travel* * Monday through Friday, starting and finishing at the Ashtabula yard * Mostly regional runs in Ohio and Pennsylvania; occasional longer trips out of state *Why Kanect* * Steady, year-round work * Weekly pay * A growing company where good drivers get noticed *How to Apply* Apply through Indeed, or stop by our yard at 5700 W 58th St, Ashtabula, OH 44004 to fill out an application.
