Material Handler
Electrical Mechanical Assembler
The purpose of this position is to provide support performing electrical assembly in an electrical department of a manufacturing shop.
We work a 9/80 schedule (9 hours a day Monday through Thursday, and 8 hours every other Friday, with every other Friday off).
Responsibilities include:
Moving material in the parts department of a manufacturing facility
Operate forklifts and motorized vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
Follow routes and time schedule
Inspect products for damage before and after transport
Complete logs and reports as required
Count, package, and stock parts in materials warehouse
Pull and allocate parts from stock to support manufacturing
Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and descriptions of parts
Move material manually, including using a forklift
Stage materials to support manufacturing
Prepare and package shipments and ensure proper protection for safe transport
Investigate inventory discrepancies as required
Safeguard materials
Maintain warehouse areas in a clean and orderly state
Perform other various duties as assigned
Complying with processes and procedures per our quality system (ISO9001 compliant) and best practices
Abiding by safety regulations
Maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness
Perform other various duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Well spoken and written English language skills
Process-oriented disposition and mentality (a commitment to following procedures, instructions, and rules)
Organizational skills
5 years’ experience in a simliar role
Valid driver's license
