The role focuses on building reliable mechanical systems with some exposure to basic electrical assembly tasks.ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical components and subassemblies used in production machineryUse hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment such as drill pressesInterpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructionsMeasure, cut, and align parts using standard measuring toolsPerform basic electrical-related assembly tasks when requiredInspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit and functionMaintain a clean and organized work area while following safety proceduresRequirementsPrior experience in mechanical assembly or industrial manufacturingAbility to operate common hand and power toolsAbility to read and interpret basic technical drawingsProficiency xevrcyc in using tape measures and standard measuring devicesAbility to lift and handle components typical of manufacturing environmentsPreferencesExperience with electrical components or basic wiringFamiliarity with industrial equipment or machinery assemblyPrevious work in a production or manufacturing setting #M-1Ref: #282-Eng Pgh
