In-House Litigation Attorney
Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is looking for a litigation attorney to join the Philadelphia, PA office of its in-house legal counsel, Fidelity National Law Group (FNLG).LOCATIONThis position would be a hybrid in-office/remote position. The office is located at 1515 Market Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Occasional travel may be required to courts across Pennsylvania.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDedicate 2 days per week to working in the office or at an in-person court event, and 3 days per week to working from home.Independently litigate cases to verdict, demonstrating superior use of trial skills and techniques.Handle and manage a full caseload with moderate level of complexity from case inception through trial/resolution.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and any other legal documents.Conduct legal research as needed and supervise projects delegated to paralegals, as well as mentor, train and work collegially with legal support staff.Attend court events, including hearings, conferences, depositions and other appointments independently.Provide timely recommendations and case analysis to clients and claims attorneys on appropriate litigation handling strategy.Complete all required administrative tasks including preparing reports, tracking time and other matters appropriate to performance of job duties.Understand and manage client expectations and business goals and assist them in meeting those goals.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSThree (3) years of experience, with a concentration in litigation in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania, and substantive experience in one or more of the following areas of practice: trials, insurance defense, title curative practice, mortgage foreclosure, creditors’ rights, and/or collections.COMPENSATION and BENEFITSThis position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $125,000 to $150,000 annually, based on job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset and experience.
