Job DetailsDescriptionKey Responsibilities: Utilize handheld I-pod device to locate inventory, assemble customer orders from stock and transport orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing stationCheck accuracy and prepare orders for shipment utilizing tote scanningPack orders utilizing proper packing methods to make best use of carton space and packing materialCorrectly calculate package weights, prepare invoices, and process packages using shipping meter and rate chartAssist with routine cycle countsWeighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standardsSort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product codeReplenish stock levels in assigned bin locations from stock locationsMeet and maintain accuracy and productivity level requirementsPrepare delivery trucks for daily routes and cosmetically maintain delivery trucksMay drive vehicle to transport items between buildings or transport items from several locations for shipmentPartake in overall housekeeping including cleaning, organizing, dusting, sweeping, etc.Other duties as assignedEducation/Experience/QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED requiredSkills & AbilitiesAbility to effectively communicate with leadership, managers, leads, and peersProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related equipment and softwareDemonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environmentWilling to participate in Company designated trainingAbility to work with minimum supervision/guidanceMust have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the company handbookMust be able to practice safe work habitsPhysical DemandsThis is a General Warehouse position that requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and use of hands continuously for eight hours. This position requires lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally with assistance lifting/moving up to 100 pounds. This position requires extended amounts of time walking and climbing stairs. This position requires frequent work time beyond an eight-hour shift/40-hour week including shift rotation and weekends. This position requires the operation of basic office equipment.
