Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Embark on a rewarding assignment supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school environment near Corona, CA. This contract opportunity covers both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the New School Year (NSY), offering diverse experiences with an elementary caseload.The ESY segment runs from June 8th through July 3rd, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, providing vital continuity of support to students during the summer session. The role transitions into a full-time position for the NSY, starting in August and extending through the end of January, allowing you to build lasting relationships and foster growth in your students throughout the academic semester.Qualifications & Experience:Valid Special Education Teaching credential requiredExperience or strong interest in elementary special educationUnderstanding of IEPs and ability to adapt lessons for diverse learnersCollaborative approach with teachers, aides, and support staffExcellent communication skills for working with students, families, and colleaguesCommitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environmentPrimary Responsibilities:Develop and implement individualized education plans for your assigned studentsDeliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet various learning needsTrack progress and adapt teaching strategies for student growthCultivate a positive, organized classroom atmosphereCollaborate closely with general education staff and families to optimize student outcomesThis contract is an excellent fit for educators passionate about supporting elementary students with special needs in a collaborative, growth-oriented setting.
