DescriptionWe are currently hiring for this role in DC, Philly, NY, Boston, Austin, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles- feel free to apply if you are in one of these cities.About the Program: Movement Labs is hiring Organizing Fellows for our Beers & Ballots initiative! As a Canvasser, you will join Beers & Ballots staff and volunteers at bars showing football games for swing state teams, then buy patrons a drink who help mobilize their swing state friends to vote.About the Role: As a Canvasser, you will be responsible for in-person canvassing to talk to swing voters, get out the vote, and help achieve our goals. This position is part time with a minimum of 10 hours per week with the opportunity to work more hours if available. Pay is $20 an hour.Key Responsibilities:Engage with the public on the streets and at bars and eventsHit targets given by the Field OrganizerTrack and report accurate dataSupport the overall effort of the Beers & Ballots field operationsRequirementsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPassion for civic engagement and political activismTotal fearlessness around strangers and extreme extroversionFriendly with a "Can-Do" attitudeAbility to work evenings and weekends is a mustExperience in political campaigns or advocacy work is a plus
