Hand SanderHickory Chair - Hickory, NCOverviewPosition Type: Full Time Job Shift: DayDescriptionThis position is responsible for using appropriate tools to sand furniture.Essential Duties:Will be required to read production tickets on the pieces of furniture being sandedManually sands wood furniture and frames using various jigs and tools developed for sandingRepairs minor defects in the wood using appropriate tools and materialsMust follow all safety policies and proceduresWorks as part of a team to meet or exceed production goalsQualificationsPosition Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious sanding experience a plusPhysical Requirements:The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
