This role involves performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures for patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to adults.Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examsAssist with invasive procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesisEnsure patient safety and comfort during proceduresCollaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for accurate diagnosisMaintain accurate documentation and imaging recordsProcedures & Patient Population:OB/GYN imagingAbdominal ultrasoundDVT studiesCarotid imagingBreast ultrasoundPediatric to adult patientsWork Setting:Outpatient environmentRequirements:Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experienceCommunity hospital experience requiredARDMS certification requiredBLS certification requiredActive New York state license required (must be in hand at submission)Must be willing to take call (every 3rd day after 6 PM and every 3rd weekend)First-time travelers acceptedPreferred Qualifications:Experience with biopsiesAdditional certifications such as ARRT (Sonography), RDMS (AB, OB, BR, Peds), or RVT
