We actively make markets across a broad range of asset classes, providing liquidity on over two hundred thirty-five market centers around the world.We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team in one of our offices (Palm Beach Gardens, FL, New York, NY, or Short Hills, NJ). This position is critical in providing backup and support to our current team. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator, proactive and a quick learner. The role will require coordination of many projects simultaneously, so stellar organization skills will be key.The RoleProcess US multi-state semi-monthly, equity and off-cycle payrolls for approximately 670 employeesHelp with international payrolls as neededAssist with employee questions on payroll and taxesKeep up to speed with multi-state reporting and withholding requirementsResearch and address payroll tax related issuesAssist with various payroll-related audits and surveysWork on other HR/payroll related matters as neededThe Candidate5+ years of relevant experienceExcellent proficiency in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of multi-state withholdings requirements and ability to reconcile W-2 formsExperience with payroll processing for equityWorkday payroll experience preferredHighly organized, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to handle various projects simultaneously, as well as adapt to changes in project direction and prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively represent the firm in a professional mannerSalary Range: $90,000 - $125,000 (salary range is exclusive of bonuses, benefits or other categories of compensation)Virtu Financial is an equal opportunity employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, welcoming you for who you are and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
