Job Purpose: As the Patient Financial Coordinator at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose is to perform duties for providing cost estimates of care for clients.
Job Functions
Determines the financial capability and payment options for treatment
Enters accurate data into the company database
Collects fees for services and prepares associated documentation
Ability to work with challenging clients
Understanding of CPT, HCPCS and billing/contract requirements
Work with private insurance and Medicaid billing systems, codes, eligibility rules and related regulations
Keep accurate records and maintain filing systems
Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures
Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)
Level II Background clearance
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire's insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
Requires High School Education or Equivalent
Two-year experience or equivalent as Medical Assistant
Requires knowledge of private insurance and Medicaid billing systems, codes, eligibility rules and related regulations
Must be detail orientated and communicate effectively with consumers, care managers and peers.
