About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior / Staff Python Engineer to join a rapidly growing SaaS company that is building next-generation, AI-driven platforms. In this role, you'll combine hands-on coding with technical leadership, mentoring other engineers and shaping the direction of complex, highly scalable systems.
You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, reliable, and performant features while fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.
What You'll Do:
Design and develop high-performance, scalable applications across Backend using Python
Foster technical growth and continuous learning.
Define and implement system architecture to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across applications and infrastructure.
Champion best practices in testing, security, and deployment processes.
Partner closely with Product and DevOps in Agile development cycles to deliver impactful features.
Lead efforts to improve CI/CD pipelines and automation for faster, more reliable releases.
Maintain clear technical documentation to support long-term stability and scalability.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of software development experience
Strong expertise in Python and modern frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django, etc.).
Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Familiarity with messaging and asynchronous systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
Experience implementing testing frameworks, code coverage, and quality standards.
Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Bonus: Experience with workflow orchestration tools or observability stacks.

Compensation & Perks
Competitive salary: $170,000 - $200,000, plus potential equity.
