Role Description This is a contracted role for an Owner/Operator. The Owner/Operator will be responsible for managing daily freight operations, coordinating loads, and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to their destination. The role includes communicating with shippers and the NOVVIC team, maintaining equipment standards, and complying with all transportation regulations. Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks are critical to success in this position. Qualifications Proven experience in freight transportation, logistics, or a related fieldStrong communication and customer service skills to build and maintain relationshipsKnowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirementsProficiency in using technology, including logistics applications, GPS navigation, and mobile toolsExceptional organizational and time management skills to handle freight schedules and deadlines effectivelyAbility to operate and maintain commercial vehicles in excellent conditionValid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving recordFamiliarity with freight route planning and experience managing cost-effective logisticsFlexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating problem-solving skills and adaptabilityPrevious experience as an Owner/Operator or in transportation and logistics is a plus
