This role is ideal for a hands-on, results-driven leader who thrives in the field, loves coaching talent, and knows how to translate operational excellence into sales growth and customer loyalty.If you’re passionate about developing people, influencing outcomes on the service drive, and partnering with dealership leadership to deliver next-level performance—this could be your next move.What You’ll DoAs a Market Manager, you’ll serve as the primary field leader and coach for Tire Service Advisors across your assigned market.Lead Standards of ExcellenceEnsure consistent execution of Dealer Tire’s operational standards and Service Lane Inspection (SLI) toolCoach TSAs on the complete service process—from customer greeting through objection handling and closing the saleDrive effective inspection presentations and accurate repair order additionsCoach, Mentor & Develop TalentSpend 70%-75% of your time onsite in dealerships, providing shoulder-to-shoulder, real-time coachingConduct announced and unannounced visits to observe behaviors and reinforce best practicesDeliver structured feedback, quarterly development discussions, and performance evaluationsMake staffing recommendations including hiring, promotions, corrective action, and terminationsIdentify skill gaps and ensure all dealership personnel are trained on Dealer Tire products and toolsOptimize Service Drive OperationsPartner with Service Managers, Parts Managers, GMs, and OEM representatives to grow tire and Maintenance & Light Repair (MLR) performanceOversee tire program execution, including product screens, pricing strategies, inventory, and sales effectivenessAnalyze and leverage data such as RO trends, competitive pricing, alignment sales, and customer payLead scorecard review meetings, provide actionable recommendations, and document follow-ups in SalesforceSupport the launch of new Tire Store locationsDrive Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementFoster collaboration and consistency across Tire Service Advisor teams within your marketShare best practices, performance insights, and successful initiatives with Regional Managers and Field Operations partnersEnsure timely completion of reports, expenses, and administrative requirementsWhat You BringExperience & EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)4+ years in tires, automotive, or a related industryProven experience leading teams in a retail or service-driven environment (preferably multi-store supervision)Skills & CapabilitiesStrong coaching, facilitation, and communication skillsAbility to influence behaviors through data, pay plan understanding, and relationship buildingHigh attention to detail and comfort operating in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM toolsWillingness and ability to perform TSA duties when neededLeadership CompetenciesResults orientation and business acumenCritical thinking and agilityTime management and initiativeCustomer focus and value sellingTalent development and performance managementChange leadership and collaborationPhysical & Travel RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbsFrequent bending, crouching, and twistingApproximately 85% travel within the assigned marketWork Environment & PolicyDealer Tire is a drug-free workplacePre-employment drug screening required; random drug testing appliesAt Dealer Tire, we believe great results come from great leadership on the ground.
