Other duties may be assigned.Assist photographers in both Ready-To-Wear and Stills with shoot prep, set maintenance, and camera operationFocus on on-set support rather than post-processing or advanced technical tasksLearn and follow all visual and style guides for both product and on-model shootsHelp organize digital folders and maintain a clean, efficient studio environmentProvide hands-on support during shoots, including:RVLV shoots Headshots Assistant lighting and test shotsCommunicate promptly via email and keep current with all scheduling and operational updatesUtilize Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides to assist with shoot tracking and checklistsShadow senior team members to develop technical skills over timeRequired Competencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Positive attitude and willingness to learn:Familiarity with DSLR cameras and studio lighting/metering setsA superb eye for attention to detail, style, and visual compositionAbility to work with different teams and take direction wellStrong communication skills and reliable team playerExcellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and stay calm under pressureAbility to work in the intensity of a high production studio and capable of upholding the highest quality standardsPossesses exceptional organizational skillsMinimum Qualifications:Entry-level portfolio or academic project samplesComfortable with Mac OS and Google WorkspacePhysically able to lift 25+ lbsPreferred Qualifications: 1+ year experience assisting in a studio environment or photography internshipInterest in fashion or product photography as a career pathUnderstanding of retail and e-commerce trendsFamiliarity with Capture One and tethered shooting workflowsA successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
