What You’ll DoAs a Painter you will be maintaining the general condition of our property with regards to all aspects of basic painting work.ROLE EXPECTATIONSResponsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The FollowingApplies various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures, including primers or sealers.Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites.Removes old paint coating, if necessary.Mix colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.Cleans up worksite debris.Maintaining an inventory of supplies like paint brushes, rollers and tarpsRemoving old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds, or blowtorchesEstimating time and material costs on painting projectsCleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.RequirementsHigh school diploma is an asset.Previous painting experience preferred.Proficiency with painting tools and equipment a plusAbility to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.Physical RequirementsMust be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary for the success of the hotel.Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.WORKING CONDITIONSWork is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust, and smoke.Close spaces while working with others.While work is performed outdoors, Team Member could be required to maneuvering for prolonged periods of time, both inside and outside, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
