Window Cleaning Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Window Cleaning Specialist to join our professional cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of windows across commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial or custodial work, with a focus on high-quality window cleaning using specialized equipment such as scissor lifts. Duties Clean windows on various building types, including high-rise structures, using appropriate tools and safety equipment Operate scissor lifts and other access equipment to reach elevated windows safely and efficiently Perform detailed cleaning of glass surfaces, frames, sills, and surrounding areas Prepare work sites by setting up necessary safety barriers and equipment before commencing work Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues during high-elevation work Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment after each job to ensure optimal performance for future tasks Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during the course of work to supervisors Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles with a focus on window or exterior building cleaning Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and procedures Ability to operate scissor lifts and other access equipment safely (certification preferred) Strong attention to detail to ensure streak-free, spotless results Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights for extended periods Knowledge of safety regulations related to working at heights and handling cleaning chemicals Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship, prioritize safety, and enjoy working outdoors on diverse projects.
