Construction Associate Project Manager

This role supports all phases of electrical construction projects, working under the guidance of a senior-level Project Manager. It involves hands-on field experience and progressive responsibility in scheduling, estimating, procurement, and customer relations. The Associate Project Manager will develop skills in project leadership, safety, waste elimination, and operational systems while ensuring projects are completed to high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.At PPC Partners we believe in the Power to Serve along with the Pursuit of Excellence. As such the following values guide our behaviors: A Servant's Heart - Focus on the Needs of Others, Wisdom - Insightful, Integrity - Honesty and Trustworthy, Courage - Decisive and Confident in Others, Humility - Modest and Respectful, Passion - Unfailing DedicationEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Monitoring:Help establish what is to be done on a week-to-week basis, when, and by whomAnalyze and forecast factors that affect results to maximize efficiencyDevelop appropriate programs, strategies, and supervisionWill learn the scheduling process; take responsibility for it on assigned projectsBe trained to use estimating information to manage labor and material costs effectivelyShare manpower, resources, and tools across branches as neededAssist and work with Project Managers to manage resources, tooling, and permits as neededBilling & Procurement ManagementWill learn the procurement process and will be responsible for ordering materials on assigned projectsGain understanding of the collection and billing process; take responsibility for it on assigned projectsManage billingsProject Execution & OperationsUnderstand and assist in bidding jobs (including estimates, proposal specifications, drawings, and takeoff information)Manage projects to deliver on customer requirements of scope, timeline, and budgetAssume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the projectCustomer Satisfaction & Professional DevelopmentWork with Project Managers to learn how develop and maintain relationships with customers; ensure high quality service is provided to guarantee salesTake prompt action to resolve any customer complaintsAlways be growing and improving both yourself and your entire teamSafety/Hazard Recognition & EliminationPre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task. Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention. Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents. Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.Qualifications And RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Sciences, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Science, etc.), or relatedPrior experience in contracting, engineering, construction management, or a related field preferredKnowledge and experience with the electrical tradePhysical RequirementsOffice and site environments requiring sitting and standing.
