This is a temp role (full-time hours) for one of clients that could convert to full-time/direct for the right candidate!Local candidates only please!Controller/Accounting Manager- temp to maybe perm!Lenox, MA areaThe Controller is responsible for the financial operations of the company to include accounting transactional activities as well as financial analysis and reporting in accordance with IFRS to support strategic and operational management decision making.Manage financial operations and reporting relationship with parent companyPrepare monthly financial statements to include income statement, balance sheet and cash flowPrepare required monthly financial metric reports analyzing the operating performance vs. the budget and prior periodsManage the annual budgeting processCoordinate and manage annual financial audit, annual 401K plan audit, and annual tax return preparation and filingOversee accounts receivables collections process to ensure outstanding balances are collected in accordance with agreed upon payment termsOversee accounts payable ensure timely payments per vendor termsReview and ensure that bank statements, balance sheet and expense accounts are accurately stated and reconciled in accordance with monthly closing scheduleOversee and review the bi-weekly payroll processing via outside service to ensure accurate and timely processingManage cash activity and oversee the required management reportingMaintain banking relationships including required compliance reportingComply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsConduct business in a responsible manner that complies with all state, FDA, OSHA and cGMP regulations, or otherwise as applicableAble to work as part of a team to ensure all company standards are metSupport SAP implementationRequirements:5-10+ years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree in accounting or finance (MBA/CPA a plus)Solid manufacturing industry experience a must!Understanding of the basic FDA cGMP regulationsOversee and manage of all aspects of the operations and staff for the Finance DepartmentProvide leadership in daily financial operations, and have employees incorporate compliance practices into their daily routinesExcellent computer skills absolutely requiredStrong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employeesStrong computer skills including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel a must!Experience with SAP a plus
