Residential New Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized residential construction superintendent to join our fast-growing residential construction team. This role is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of home-building projects, ensuring that each phase of the construction process meets quality standards, stays on schedule, and aligns with budget constraints. The superintendent will work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and sales consultants to coordinate activities, maintain efficient workflows, and promptly address any challenges on site.Our office is located in Greensboro, NC, but we service a large portion of Middle to Eastern NC, with a showroom coming soon to Charlotte, NCResponsibilities:Manage an accurate schedule for subcontractors to complete workCollaborate and communicate with the office staff and the office managementDaily updates and communication with the clientsAdhere to company standards and core valuesPost daily logs of work that is complete and work that is to be completedLearn and utilize technical programs for the company for scheduling and operationsManage quality, build times & adhere to local and national building codesAssess subcontractor progress against timelines and performance targets to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the highest possible qualityQualifications:Minimum 1 year in residential new construction project managementExperience in residential custom home buildingExperience in building codes and site workCustomer service skillsTeamwork and communication skillsKnowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principlesExcellent leadership, time-management, organizational, and communication skillsAbout Company:At The Barndo Co., we're focused on making a lasting impact—through the homes we build and the experience we create for clients.
