Job Description Job OverviewAs a member of the Mental Health Clinical Faculty within our organization's Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of healthcare professionals who provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health services. Utilizing your clinical expertise in psychiatric and mental health practices, you will mentor nursing and health professions students in both classroom and clinical environments, equipping them with the essential knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors necessary to assist individuals, families, and communities throughout the spectrum of mental health care.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement engaging, outcome-oriented instruction that aligns with our curriculum and accreditation requirements.Utilize a variety of teaching methods, innovative educational technologies, and e-learning tools to cater to diverse learning needs.Lead clinical groups in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, or community-based mental health environments, while exemplifying trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.Oversee students' direct patient interactions, documentation, and collaborative efforts with other professionals.Evaluate student performance through observations, assignments, and exams, providing timely feedback and necessary remediation.Maintain accurate academic and clinical records.Work closely with academic and clinical colleagues to coordinate student learning experiences and refine course content and clinical objectives.Ensure that teaching practices reflect current evidence-based methodologies and regulatory standards.Participate in program and course evaluations, faculty meetings, and committees as needed.Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives in mental health education.Working EnvironmentThis position offers a vibrant work atmosphere that combines on-site clinical engagement with classroom and online teaching responsibilities.
