Job Description
The HR Representative supports the Business Manager in executing Human Resource, Safety, and Payroll functions at the Branch, collaborating closely with the Corporate Human Resource Department. This role ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and labor laws while fostering a safe and productive work environment. The HR Representative also manages employee benefits, safety programs, and reporting to maintain operational excellence and workforce engagement. ResponsibilitiesAdminister employee benefits programs for all Branch employeesOversee annual Open Enrollment for benefits at the BranchInvestigate and troubleshoot employee issuesCommunicate labor, personnel, and safety issues with Corporate as neededSet up and maintain employee personnel files, including separate I-9 and medical filesEnsure all new hire paperwork is completed correctly, including reference checks, background checks, drug screens, physicals, I-9s, and safety training acknowledgementsMaintain Branch attendance records and collect non-exempt salary timesheetsManage paperwork, correspondence, and communication related to Worker's Compensation claimsConduct orientation sessions for benefits and safety for new hires and update programs for current employeesMaintain OSHA logs and pull, review, and export Time Clock system reports to CorporateOversee the Branch Safety Committee by scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and assisting in monthly general safety meetingsCoordinate the Branch and Company Safety Award programsPerform other work-related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability Required QualificationsHR Certification, AA or BA Degree, or equivalent experienceHigh level of confidentiality with sensitive information and professionalismStrong working knowledge of federal and state employment law, employee relations, and corporate policies and proceduresAbility to model company values and provide innovative solutionsAbility to drive and be accountable for results in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving skills, including anticipating, analyzing, and prioritizing complex issuesStrong verbal and written communication skills to present ideas clearly and compellinglyEffective listening and conflict resolution skills Preferred Qualifications2+ years of experience in human resourcesCompany DescriptionPathway Group is a Recruitment and Staffing service dedicated to the Manufacturing Industry.
