Job Responsibilities The Engineering Specialist works under general supervision to provide Gas Engineering and Gas Storage support to field and staff personnel through a variety of projects and assignments. Evaluate system performance through modeling Develop system designs, overseeing construction, maintenance, and operations activities Investigate incidents, trouble-shooting systems and equipment, tests materials, and other assignments Collaborate with both site personnel and contractors for operations and maintenance and throughout capital projects Create environmental and performance reports on a monthly and annual basis Provide technical training and develop procedures on equipment changes and installations Utilize and implement management of change process as well as document control for all project work This position is part of the Engineering Specialist job family (Associate Engineering Specialist/Engineering Specialist/Senior Engineering Specialist). Experience will be the determining factor. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline with three years of engineering/project management experience will be accepted Must meet company standards for driving and maintain a valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering 2+ years of internal combustion or RICE engines experience (1,000+ horsepower) 2+ years of industrial infrastructure equipment (compressors, dryers, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, generators) 2+ years of working with and understanding related codes (Title 49 CFR 192, PSC 135,API, ASTM, MSS, etc.) 2+ years of pipeline construction processes experience (welding, tapping, hydro test, purging, tie-ins, etc.) 2+ years of pipeline design, planning, and cost estimating Some of our Benefits Include Incentive Plan Medical Insurance Wellness Incentive Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) with a Company Match Tuition Reimbursement Life Insurance Benefits Paid Vacation and Holidays End Date: 09/18/2024 We reserve the right to modify the application deadline or discontinue accepting applications for any position if deemed necessary.
