Pest Control Technician Assistant

We are mainly looking for someone who can work from the months of May through September, but we can be flexible. This is a great fit for a college student that needs a job over the summer. Duties Assist licensed pest control technicians with preparing treatment areas and applying pest control solutions using hand tools, power tools, sprayers Support the setup and operation of motors, sprayers, bait stations, etc. Conduct routine inspections of properties for signs of pests, weeds, or plant health issues under supervision Help with the transportation of equipment and supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals, tools, or machinery during pest control tasks Document job activities accurately and report any issues or observations to supervisors promptly Requirements Previous experience or interest in sales, pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, agriculture, or related outdoor work is preferred but not required Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, motorized equipment, and lawn equipment safely and effectively Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving company vehicles on different terrains Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn technical skills related to pest management and outdoor maintenance Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout the day Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work well within a team environment A proactive attitude with attention to detail when performing inspections or handling equipment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain practical experience in pest control, agriculture, or outdoor maintenance fields.
