Shift Lead (29249)The Shift Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the theatre during their scheduled shifts. Reporting directly to the General Manager and working under their supervision, the Shift Lead will provide leadership and support to frontline employees, ensuring exceptional guest service and adherence to all company policies and procedures. In the absence of management, the Shift Lead will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and resolving any issues that may arise.Hours: This is a part-time position requiring regular opening and/or closing availability.Key Responsibilities:Provide guidance and direction to frontline team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Assist in training new employees and reinforce company standards.Communicate effectively with team members and management, ensuring smooth information flow.Lead and take charge of the theatre operations in the absence of the General Manager or other designated managers.Guest Experience:Prioritize customer satisfaction by providing professional and friendly guest support.Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently and effectively.Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about current promotions, showtimes, and theatre policies.Operational Efficiency:Oversee the efficient operation of various areas, including concessions and box office.Ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to all financial procedures.Maintain a thorough knowledge of all items offered, including pricing.Coordinate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless teamwork.Facility Maintenance and Safety:Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including workstations, concession areas, box office, auditoriums, and restrooms.Perform cleaning duties as directed, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.Adhere to all safety regulations and report any potential hazards to management.Complete any other duties as delegated or directed by supervisory personnel.General Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.Must have the availability to open and/or close the theatre on a regular basis, including weekends and holidays.Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.Positive and proactive attitude.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.Reliable transportation. (The ability to run company errands and provide current vehicle insurance is a plus.)Essential Functions:Supervise and coordinate staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations.Train, mentor, and support team members to maintain service and operational standards.Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.Monitor workflow, coordinate tasks, and ensure proper execution of operational procedures.Assist with opening, closing, and shift transition procedures, including cash handling and recordkeeping.Communicate effectively with management and team members to resolve issues and maintain efficiency.Perform other operational duties as assigned to support staff and maintain high-quality service.Work independently or collaboratively to ensure smooth shift operations and guest satisfaction.Physical Demands:Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, up to 4 hours at a time.Frequent use of hands and arms to handle objects, tools, or equipment.Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed to perform duties.Ability to move, lift, stock, and transport items weighing 3540 pounds safely.Mental stamina to maintain composure, efficiency, and decision-making in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting, and temperature conditions.These essential functions and physical demands are representative of the requirements necessary to perform this role.
