ALBERT HOTEL is hiring for a RESERVATIONS AGENTAn urban oasis, tucked away off of Main Street in the heart of Fredericksburg, TX, Albert Hotel offers a peaceful yet sophisticated luxury experience in Texas's famed Hill Country. Opened in January 2025, the property features 105 thoughtfully appointed guest rooms and suites, along with uniquely designed bunk rooms and a private house with custom furnishings, locally-curated amenities, and thoughtful touches.With the guest experience in mind, Albert's elevated amenities include a sunken limestone pool featuring an outdoor bar and cabanas, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 2,000-square-foot full-service spa. Additionally, the property is home to four on-site culinary outlets, including The Restaurant at Albert.Albert boasts 3,600-square-foot of semi-open air event space, a 1,200-square-foot mezzanine deck, and an expansive event lawn, making it a prime destination for weddings, private events, and intimate gatherings.What you'll do:Ensure all calls are answered in a courteous, professional, and efficient mannerHandle all incoming reservation requests via phone, email, or online channelsHave a comprehensive knowledge of hotel availability and current rates, packages, and room types; understand special events that may have an impact on occupancy and availabilityInput and manage reservations in the hotel's property management systemResolve any guest complaints or issues related to their reservations in a timely and professional mannerMaintain an accurate log of guest calls for assistance or feedback and ensure completion of all itemsCoordinate groups booked by the sales teams including rooming lists and cut-off datesAssist with reservations and special requests for group blocks & BTMaintain detailed and meticulously organized account files, system profiles, and systems dataScreen and qualify all telephone leads and sources to the appropriate Sales ManagerParticipate in the hotel's weekly BEO meetingsWork cross-functionally with rooms and sales departments to ensure a seamless guest experiencePossess fluent knowledge of local restaurants, special events, city attractions, amenities, and directionsPromote and encourage guest name recognition at all times with both internal and external guestsAssist in the development and implementation of special projectsBe available to fill in and assist in other areas as needed to ensure the highest level of guest experience, as directed by your supervisorWho you are:You can write routine reports and correspondence and prepare accurate proposalsYou can navigate and operate computer systems and software applicationsYou are proficient in Mac and Google Applications including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google CalendarAbility to develop and maintain professional relationships and speak effectively before guests and groups of co-workersYou have effective time management and organizational skills; you are able to prioritize and organize work assignments and follow through as necessary to receive expected resultsYou have a strong attention to detail and the ability to function under substantial time pressureYou have a solutions-oriented mindset and the confidence to make fast-paced decisionsYou have a strong work ethic and the ability to work both autonomously and in an intimate team settingBENEFITSWe are proud to offer competitive wages and the following benefits for full-time employees:Up to 3 weeks paid time off annually50% off discount at most New Waterloo restaurantsHealth, vision, and dental benefits401K matchingPaid holidaysVolunteer payTuition reimbursementReferral bonusesDiscounts at our shops, hotels local partnershipABOUT NEW WATERLOONew Waterloo is a community-centric independent hospitality company based in Austin, Texas.
