Direct-Hire- Product Development & Production Associate- Onsite- Westport, CT

A Growing Fashion Brand is looking for a Direct-Hire Product Development & Production Associate.About the Role:This role sits at the intersection of Production and Product Development, supporting the full lifecycle from concept through final delivery. You'll work closely with Design, Technical Design, and vendors to ensure product is developed accurately, on time, and within cost targets.Key Responsibilities:Production• Issue and track purchase orders for samples and bulk production• Manage and track SMS, PPS, and TOP samples across all categories• Maintain WIP reports and ensure on-time delivery with vendors• Communicate daily with domestic and overseas factories (China, India, Peru, Mexico)• Conduct quality checks on samples and bulk shipments• Support fit meeting prep (SMS, 1st Fit, PPS)• Maintain production data and updates within ERP systems (Sync)Product Development• Maintain fabric, yarn, and trim libraries• Track samples and organize development across categories• Support seasonal development tools and submissions• Partner cross-functionally with Design, Tech Design, Sales, and Production teamsQualifications:• 1-3 years of experience in production or product development within apparel• Background in contemporary or premium fashion preferred• Strong understanding of garment construction and production flow• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and ERP systems• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionallyWhat They're Looking For:• Someone detail-oriented, organized, and highly reliable• A team player who thrives in a collaborative, in-office environment• A candidate who aligns with the brand's positive, lifestyle-driven culture• Experience in contemporary/high-end apparel (refined aesthetic preferred)Benefits:• Health, dental, and vision insurance• Paid time off + holidays
