Featuring complete aircraft nose-to-tail, value-added offerings, including Aircraft & Component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services (MRO), Aircraft & Engine Sales and Leasing, Used Serviceable Material (USM) Sales and Parts Exchange, Flight Equipment Asset Management Services, Internally developed aircraft and component modifications (engineered solutions) designed to enhance aircraft performance and operating economics (e.g. AerSale, AerTrak and AerAware).Job Description:Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or an equivalent2-year minimum of continuous work experience using a high-volume low pressure (HVLP) paint spray gun1+ years of experience painting aircraft, vehicles, or similar productRole and ResponsibilitiesApply paint to the correct measurement per written specifications meeting criteria of the Component Maintenance Manuals, FAA, and internal quality standards.Clean parts to prep for primer and paintMeasure and mask off all areas to be excluded from paint and primerSet up, operate and maintain tools and equipmentUse calibrated tools to measure coating thicknessTouch up spots that may have been missedTransfer parts using hand pushed carts, and operate large commercial oven to bake coatingsUse proper personal protective equipment when applicableMaintain work recordsMaintain the work area in a clean and orderly conditionCoordinate with Management and Inspectors to ensure compliance with applicable standardsMay assist in plating and sub-assembly as needed with masking and sealingOther duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesProficient in the English languageAttention to detail and accuracyMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Visual abilities: Near, distant, color discrimination and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusStand for extended periods of timeMulti-limb Coordination able to bend, twist, stretch or reach with body, and armsArm-Hand SteadinessComputer literate with ability to enter data, access emails, follow technical data, and file managementWork under pressure in a fast-paced industry meeting established timelineTeamwork OrientedTime managementResults drivenDemonstrate thorough working knowledge within 90 days on the jobAbility to measure with precisionPosition PPE Requirements:Compliance with safety and health protocols including the use of personal protective equipment.Other Position Requirements:Flexibility to work any shift as necessary when operational objectives require itThis position is safety sensitive and is subject to DOT drug and alcohol regulationsSuccessful completion of a comprehensive background checkIf you would like to see your career take flight, apply today!Aersale is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
