The Delivery Driver should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer.The Delivery Driver should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our customers with an excellent experience. They should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesPractice Responsible alcohol delivery service standards as set forth by state law, regarding ID verification as well as any specific Delivery System ID Technology required.Follow all traffic and parking lawsOperate the Delivery SystemEnsure customer satisfaction Transport items in a safe and timely MannerPolite and Prompt with a commitment to provide customers with an excellent experienceBe thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilledCommitted to work safetyLoading, transporting and delivering items to customers in a safe, timely mannerReview orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied.Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.Provide excellent customer service, answer questions and handle complaints from customers.Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.Operating equipment such as cars.RequirementsQualifications, Education & Experience:Must be 21 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredValid US driver’s LicenseCovered under the insurance for the car you are using to driveAcceptable Driving Record via MVR ran by TWG BRL, LLC’s Liability Insurance Company to be added to the insurance umbrella as a means for supplemental insurance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProvide an extremely high level of customer serviceAbility to work in a fast pace settingOrganized with a great attention to detailSelf MotivatedDemonstrated reliability and punctualityPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to talk or hearFrequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climbRegularly lift and or move objects up to 50 poundsVision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusTravelFrequent travel is expected for this positionAdditional Eligibility QualificationsMust maintain Indiana State Employee PermitMust maintain Indiana State Approved Server Training CertificationBig Red Liquors is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity and does not discriminate because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, marital status, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information or any other basis governed by federal, state or local law or ordinance or regulation.
