EstimatorPosition Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project feasibility and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.Collaborate with project managers to provide estimates that align with project budgets and timelines.Review and analyze bid proposals to ensure compliance with company standards.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates and industry trends to enhance estimating accuracy.Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD for calculations and project documentation.Participate in risk analysis to identify potential issues and provide solutions.Prepare detailed construction documentation and reports for management review.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Quantity Surveying.Familiarity with Project Management principles and practices.Proficient in Blueprint Reading and understanding of Construction Methods.Experience with Risk Analysis and its application in project estimating.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimates.
