If you're motivated by leadership, mentorship, and improving the communities where people live and work, this position offers a platform to make a lasting impact.We're hiring for our Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Eau Claire, WI offices.Visit our website to learn about our people, culture, and community impact.Job ResponsibilitiesLead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality municipal engineering projectsDevelop, monitor, and manage project budgetsManage project scope, schedules, staffing, and resourcesServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communicationEnsure all project-specific delivery requirements, standards, and deadlines are metLead project pursuits, including securing contract work, negotiating contracts, and providing progress updates as requestedProvide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to staffDevelop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationshipsCollaborate with colleagues and leverage internal resources to continuously enhance professional skills and project outcomesAdhere to internal Quality Control processes to ensure accuracy and complianceJob RequirementsA Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university7+ years of relevant experience with multiple years leading projectsA Professional Engineer (PE) License (preferred)Experience in producing civil engineering plansExperience with municipal project designKnowledge of municipal permitting and Federal, State, and local regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTechnical competence in developing and managing project budgetsKnowledge of client standards and Quality Control processesA valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferencesTo be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is locatedTo occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related workLife at JT: The Benefits and PerksAt JT, we offer more than just a job - we provide a thriving workplace culture and exceptional benefits.
