Think of us as the travel buddy who handles the logistics while you focus on what you do best helping people heal.Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, patient-centered labor and delivery nursing care in a 3-room Family Birth CenterManage assignments with ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuityServe as Charge Nurse when assigned, coordinating patient care and staff communicationPerform neonatal care during C-sections with support from RT and anesthesia as neededFloat to MedSurg for tasking and cross-cover as unit needs ariseDocument clinical care accurately in Cerner and participate in unit-based quality effortsMaintain readiness for emergency interventions and collaborate with RT and pharmacy teamsRequirementsQualificationsActive RN license in California (or compact license if applicable and accepted by facility)Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (Labor & Delivery experience preferred)Current BLS (AHA), NRP, and ACLS certificationsAWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification requiredCOVID-19 vaccination required as part of submissionCharge nurse experience or demonstrated leadership skills preferredEducationActive RN license (ADN or BSN).
