Seeking someone with a strong foundational knowledge of the Single Family business, an interest in managing multiple aspects of business reporting, and the drive to rapidly learn the business and drive results.Our Impact:Responsible for ensuring that SFPS’s business results and risk metrics are properly collected, monitored and reported in an efficient, timely and controlled mannerEnsure compliance with corporate policies and standards and support department leadership in the drive and execution of strategy and objectives to help ensure efficient and effective execution of processes and controlsCommunicate SFPS strategies and tacticsYour Impact:Collaborate with the SF Portfolio & Servicing business units, senior leadership team, and business partners across the enterprise to compile business results and produce monthly business and risk reporting materialsResponsible for production of timely, accurate and reliable management information for regular and ad-hoc reporting and business reviews as well as the preparation of key presentations and special projects as requiredWorks on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company & businessDevelops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of ingenuity and creativityValidate, research and analyze data to frame and answer analytical questions. Present ideas and recommendations to management. Gain in-depth understanding of source data and related controlsResearch and prepare materials for executive presentationUnderstand enterprise and divisional risk policies and standards underlying the reporting requirements, and the business requirements for managing and documenting on-going complianceMaintain procedures for managing reporting and identify opportunities to make business and risk reporting more efficient and effectiveEmploy analytical skills and creativity to develop and consider alternative options/solutionsQualifications:College Degree in Finance or equivalent experience. Typically has 8-10 or years related work experienceStrong quantitative, analytic and problem-solving skillsHighly proficient in use of MS software with ability to create presentations for an executive audienceAbility to leverage AI tools to gather data and develop communicationsUnderstanding of Freddie Mac’s Single-Family mortgage business and familiarity with key risk concepts risks and controls framework and standardsIntellectual maturity with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skillsConfidence in consulting with colleagues and processing feedback from senior management, people managers and diverse audiencesFocused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure and thrives in an environment with changing prioritiesKeys to Success in this Role:Self-starter that drives and executes assignments to completion.
