Silver Dollar City - Entertainment & Events, Ragtime Review Piano Player (Seasonal, 2026)
Job Summary: We are looking for individuals who play Ragtime Piano to join our Entertainment team! Application and audition are both required to be considered for position. Submission Information: Video Submissions are required for the Audition and should be sent to sdcuaditions@silverdollarcity.com. Submission should include two songs in the style(s) you do best. A verse and chorus of each song is sufficient! This is a Part-Time Seasonal position from 5/26/2026 until 08/24/2026. Must be at least 18 years of age. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)Rehearses parts to learn songs, lines, and cues as directedReads music and plays in an ensemble in rehearsal and performancesWears costume to change or enhance appearance and portrayal of character or role Required Skills:Able to communicate efficientlyExpressive abilities, poise, stage presence, and feel for music are requiredThe ability to read sheet music is preferred Required Experience:Previous experience in theme park, theater, and amateur or professional productions is preferredLive stage performance experience is requiredFormal training in music theory is requiredSinging experience is preferred Physical Requirements:The ability to lift and/or move 10 pounds frequently to 50 pounds maximumThe ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete continuouslyThe ability to perform choreographed actions related to performing frequentlyThe ability to remember locations, understand and carry out instructionsThe ability to work in extreme weather occasionally Work Environment: A performer works primarily outdoors when performing, with occasional indoor tasks. This role involves exposure to various weather conditions, uneven terrain, and moderate to high noise levels. Work includes collaboration with team and supervisors.
