Help grow a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, every day.Executive Role SummaryShaw is seeking a senior commercial leader with deep technical sales experience to lead and scale its U.S. business for moisture measurement solutions. As Business Unit Director - Shaw USA, you will own the commercial performance, customer strategy, and operational effectiveness of the U.S. and Americas region, operating as the senior regional leader within the Shaw Group.This role requires an executive who understands applications-driven instrumentation sales, is comfortable engaging with engineers, plant operations, and technical decision makers, and can translate customer requirements into measurement solutions that deliver accuracy, repeatability, and long-term reliability.Based preferably in Tucson, Arizona, you will work closely with global leadership, R&D, and product management to ensure Shaw products are positioned as trusted components within process analyzer systems, gas measurement applications, and broader process measurement and control environments.Key ResponsibilitiesApplications-Driven Customer Engagement• Lead strategic customer engagements involving moisture measurement, gas analysis, and process monitoring applications• Position Shaw solutions within complete measurement and control systems alongside flow and pressure instrumentation• Serve as senior technical and commercial escalation point• Support customers with measurement performance, installation, calibration, and lifecycle considerationsStrategic & Commercial Responsibilities• Own delivery of quarterly and annual revenue targets for Shaw USA• Develop and execute a regional market strategy aligned with Shaw's global objectives and vertical focus that will add significant revenue growth.• Drive growth through new customer acquisition, expanded penetration within existing accounts, and increased service and calibration contribution• Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipelineLeadership & Business Unit Development• Lead and develop U.S. sales, applications, service, and administrative teams• Establish KPIs and performance expectations• Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and customer trustTechnical, Market & Cross-Functional Leadership• Maintain understanding of core industrial and process markets• Provide customer and market feedback to R&D• Deliver competitive and application insights to marketing and leadershipDeliverablesQuarterly and annual sales targets.Strong sales pipeline.High customer satisfaction.Monthly reporting on sales budget, applications of interest and new opportunitiesStrong service performance and growth in calibration business.Regional sales strategy.Skills/Experience5+ years in sales roleEngineering/technical sales, with preference for those with an industrial, manufacturing and/or electro-mechanical sales background.Instrumentation and integrated system sales strongly preferred.Leadership experience requiredConsultative and influencing skills, with a track record of growing sales contribution.Strong organization skillsExcellent presentation skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skills, able to simplify and explain complex concepts.BehaviorsMotivated, self-startingCustomer-centricPositive and enthusiasticCollaborative relationship builderEnergetic problem solverDelivers on commitments.#Alicat
